A curated literary event that seeks to intersect culture, storytelling, and multiple perspectives.
Under the theme of “Literature as a Reflection and Dialogue”, they showcased works from Kevin Chen’s “Ghost Town,” Yu-Ko Chang’s “The Whisper,” Kuo-Li Chang’s “The Sniper,” Andrew Yeh’s “Green Monkey Syndrome,” Wei-Jing Lee’s “The Mermaid’s Tale,” Chiang-Sheng Kuo’s “The Piano Turner,” Crystal Lee’s “Existence or Non-existence,” Hsu-Kung Liu “Look at You! Look at the Mess You’ve Made?” and “Taiwanese Literature Historical Top 100.”
Taiwan Academy teamed up with the National Taiwan Museum of Literature, Taiwan Creative Content Agency, and the Taipei Book Fair Foundation to showcase Taiwanese literary works in western America.
The arrangement of books on the shelves, combined with the interplay of light and shadow, visualizes differing perspectives on literature and internalization. The overlapping shadows symbolize the collision and spark of ideas.
