Seven “Stories of Taiwan” literary works were showcased at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2024. They are committed to amplifying the reach of Taiwanese literature globally, echoing the objectives outlined in the "Black Wave Cultural Plan” initiated by the Ministry of Culture. For prospective publishers, the Taiwan Academy will provide on-site brochures showcasing a list of Taiwanese literary works, including English translations of award-winning titles, thanks to the generous support from Books from Taiwan and the National Museum of Taiwan Literature. Charlotte Cheng, author of the children's book "Night Market Rescue," was in attendance. Iconic Taiwanese bags and merchandise were given away at the event.

The design concept extends from Taiwan's vintage embossed glass, reflecting the texture of traditional textbook printing, to highlight the distinctive qualities of Taiwanese literary creations. At the LA book exhibition, this visual design seeks to showcase the unique essence of Taiwanese culture.
